Golf Day 2008

Crazy Golf was the theme for the day and oh was it fun! The team devised an 8 hole course with various tubes, channels and props to test even the best handicap. Tenants had loads of fun and we managed to raise £116.59 for Macmillan Cancer Research.

Children in Need 2007

The Centre Team organised a cake and coffee morning in order to raise funds for Children in Need. This year, because it was "Do Something Different" we decided to hold a tombola to boost the funds even more. Collectively we raised £300. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Tenants Summer Lunch

All tenants were invited to join the Centre team at a Hawaiian themed lunch. The aim of this event was to bring some sun and lots of fun into the centre, and also to provide network opportunities. The event was a great success giving all tenants the chance to meet and get a real taster of what the Centre is all about.

Race for Life 2007

 

Despite the heavy rain, on Sunday 8th July, Clare, Susan and Yvonne participated in the "Race for Life" in aid of Cancer Research. Whilst Paula Radcliffe has little to fear for Beijing in 2008, the energetic ladies, together with Kathryn, of Kingfisher Consultants (NW) Ltd, raised £377.15 (and we're still collecting). Well done everyone!

Easter 2007

In order to raise funds for Stepping Stones, a local children's charity for children with learning difficulties, the Centre team organised an Easter raffle. Prizes included a small Easter egg, a chocolate bunny, and the first prize was a giant (1.5ft) Easter egg. The prizes were kindly donated by Creative Candy. This bit of fun was a great success raising nearly £200 for the local charity. Thanks to all who took part.

Grease 2007

Susan, our beautiful blonde receptionist in Bacup, turned 50 earlier this year. To celebrate and as a surprise, the other members of the team organised a very special night out for her in Leeds. The theme was Grease and Susan became "Sandy" for the weekend and if you've heard her sing you'd know she could carry it off! A great time was had by all and they all made it back to work safely on Monday.

Christmas 2006

Christmas time is always fun at the Business Centre. This year a luxury hamper was raffled in order to raise funds for local charity, Stepping Stones. Other events included "Name the Moose" and the "Christmas Quiz" which took place at our annual tenants Christmas lunch - well a good plateful of pie and peas at any rate.

Children in Need 2006

A cake & coffee morning was arranged at the Centre to raise money for Children in Need. The event was extremely successful raising £420.22 for the charity. Thanks to all who contributed and took part.
